The drama began after a video from Coldplay’s Gillette Stadium concert went viral. The clip showed Andy Byron, CEO of data company Astronomer, with his arm around Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer. When the two appeared on the kiss cam, both visibly reacted, Cabot covered her face and Byron ducked away. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin added fuel to the fire by joking, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

In the days that followed, an unsigned post began circulating titled “Formal Statement from Megan Byron.” Though it’s being attributed to her, there has been no confirmation from Megan herself. The post, dated July 18, 2025, takes a firm tone, criticising Andy Byron’s public behavior while making no room for forgiveness or reconciliation. It ends with the line, “Wife of Andrew Byron, for now,” which has particularly caught the internet’s attention. However, none of Megan’s verified accounts have posted the message, and some reports suggest she has deactivated her Facebook entirely.

Megan Byron, who also goes by Megan Kerrigan professionally, works in education as the Associate Director of Admissions at Bancroft School’s Lower School division in Massachusetts. Since the video surfaced, she has kept a low profile. Rumors online claim she removed the surname Byron from her social media, though these claims remain unverified.

Andy and Megan Byron live in Northborough, Massachusetts, with their two children. The couple had largely avoided public attention before the recent viral video.
