It’s none other than all-rounder Deepti Sharma! But before we reveal the amount, you should know that among the Indian players, Shikha Pandey has also drawn an impressive bid! Read on.

The Women’s Premier League auctions are being held in Delhi and as of this writing, Deepti Sharma has snagged the highest purchase. The cricketer has reportedly been bought by UP Warriorz for a whopping 3.2 crore. Impressive! Apart from her, another Indian all-rounder aka Shikha Pandey became the second costliest player so far. She was bought by the same team for 2.4 crore. As far as the international players go, team Mumbai Indians bought New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr for 3 crores. Additionally, Sophie Devine was secured by Gujarat Giants for 2 crores. We love seeing women in male-dominated fields, literally and figuratively.
