Recently, a viral trend known as ‘ChiChi Call’ has been spreading across social media, claiming that a leaked video of influencer Vera Hill is available online. Reportedly, cybersecurity experts have verified that this claim is entirely false and that this is a phishing scam aimed at stealing users’ personal information. This trend promotes a so-called ‘leaked MMS’ or ‘full link video’ of Vera Hill, popularly known as ChiChi.
About Viral ChiChi MMS Video
For the unversed, Vera Hill is a lifestyle and travel influencer based in Siargao, Philippines. She has no record of being involved in any scandal, and as per cybersecurity analysts, her name and photographs are being misused by scammers to generate attention and manipulate internet users. But they also pointed out that this is not an individual controversy; just before this, the scammers also shared a fake story involving a ‘Pinay Gold Medalist’ leaked video.
That case had identical patterns, including a famous and trending personality, sensational claims, and fraudulent links. Researchers and independent fact-checkers have revealed that there is no authentic footage found online related to this, as per Zee News. These clips circulating on Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram are either digitally edited, recycled from old content, or entirely fabricated.
