Chandrayaan 3’s landing on the moon has left the entire county waiting in anticipation. Since morning, Twitter has been flooded with prayers from people who are wishing that the vehicle makes a safe landing on Earth’s natural orbit. IRSO also enabled the live feed of the landing which has around 6.1 million people tuned in to watch this historic event live! The Chandrayaan 3 mission is led by the ISRO scientist Ritu Karidhal who has worked hard along with her team to make sure this mission is a success after the failure of Chandrayaan 2 in 2019.
Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi tuned in from Johannesburg, South Africa to encourage the ISRO team. With the narrators giving updates about the Chrandyaan 3’s closeness to the moon’s surface, the anticipation in people increases ten-fold. The ISRO team applauded every time the lander crossed each phase of descent safely. And with this, Chandrayaan 3 has landed safely on the moon. This makes us the first country to have landed on moon’s south pole.
Virendra Sehwag took to Twitter to congratulate the team of ISRO on achieving this huge feat.
