Kolkata Doctor Rape, Murder Case: CBI Lists 11 Crucial Evidence To Prove Accused Committed The Crime Alone

The Kolkata doctor’s rape and murder case in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital is being investigated by the CBI, and after more than a month, the team has submitted their chargesheet in the case. As per this official record, the CBI has concluded that the 31-year-old trainee doctor was allegedly raped and murdered by the civic volunteer Sanjay Roy. They have listed 11 critical pieces of evidence to prove him as the sole accused in the case, as per reports.

CBI Submits Proof Against Sole Accused Sanjay Roy

Blood Samples

The CBI has submitted reports of matching blood samples of the victim and the alleged accused Sanjay Roy. The DNA of the accused matched the blood stains found on the victim’s body and the blood stains found at the crime scene.

Short Hair

Among the evidence submitted by CBI, the short hair found at the crime scene was also a part of the crucial piece to back their allegations against Sanjay Roy.

Call Records, Phone Data

The call records and phone data evaluation of the alleged accused also revealed that he was present at the hospital when the crime was committed.

CCTV Footage

The CCTV footage of Sanjay Roy on the third floor of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital was also submitted in the chargesheet.

Bluetooth Headphones

The CBI had also collected the Bluetooth headphones from the crime scene which became a key evidence to take Sanjay Roy into custody.

Clothes With Blood Stains

The CBI had also found clothes of the alleged accused that he wore during the crime and the blood stains on those matched the victim’s blood. It was also submitted as evidence.

The chargesheet made by CBI was submitted to a local court in Kolkata. We hope she gets justice.
