Even today, horrible crimes are happening in the country, and the very recent example emerged from Bihar where a 35-year old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her neighbours. Two more women were brutally hurt during the incident. The details are shocking. Read on for more.

Woman Beaten To Death In Bihar

According to reports, the 35-year-old woman identified as Kiran Devi was attacked by her neighbours after their child fell ill. The suspected her of doing witchcraft, and allegedly the members of the family identified as Mukesh Chaudhary, Mahendra Chaudhary, Natru Chaudhary and Shobha Devi attacked her. As per an NDTV report, they threw bricks at her and used iron rods, and stones to beat her. The victim’s younger co-sister-in-law Lalita Devi and another elder co-sister-in-law were also present during the incident, and the suffered injuries. According to the report, the women were immediately rushed to the hospital, however, on the way, Kiran Devi passed away.

The victim’s sister-in-law stated that the neighbour’s child was diagnosed with a brain-related illness, and they blamed Kiran Devi for the same. Reportedly they accused her of doing witchcraft. The incident happened in Bihar’s Nawada district. The incident is currently under investigation, and three people have reportedly been taken under custody.

Previously also many incidents of killing over suspicions of witchcraft have made headlines, and unfortunately it continues to happen. Very recently, the news of a couple in Assam beaten over witchcraft suspicions made headlines. As per The Hindu report, the incident happened on December 30 and the couple was allegedly burnt to death by a group. We just hope justice is served.
