Netizens Speak Out Against Bennett University Ragging Case
In case you haven’t come across it, the video showed a girl, who is reported to be from Bennett University situated in Greater Noida, seated on a bed as she was being slapped by her senior. The junior, who was being verbally abused as well, seemed powerless as she was surrounded by other girls while this was happening. The junior was also asked to say sorry even after she said that she was hurt and bleeding.
In the comments section, people expressed feeling bad for the junior. Many have urged the police and campus authorities to intervene and take strict action against these seniors. The alumni of the said university have also spoken up against this case. An ex-student wrote that this incident was heartbreaking to witness. They added, “As someone who has studied at this college, it’s extremely disheartening to see this kind of behaviour. No student should ever feel unsafe or humiliated like this. Bullying, especially in groups, is not ‘cool’ it’s deeply concerning and unacceptable, especially in 2026 where we should know better.” They hoped that the university would take strict and immediate action against those involved.
