Arguments between bankers and employees are common, sometimes it’s even escalates, however, this viral video from a bank is raising various questions on casteism in our country. In this video, a female banker is seen in an heated argument with a customer, but people are raising eyebrows because she is heard passing some caste-related remarks during the verbal fight. What Is The Video
As per various news reports, this viral video is from HDFC’s Panki branch in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The video surfaced on X (former Twitter) in which a woman identified as Aastha Singh, as per an NDTV report is seen shouting at a male employee. She is even seen standing up and raising her laptop at the other person out of anger. The woman is also heard saying that she was a Thakur, and further uses some slangs at the customer. In the video, the other employees of the bank are seen trying to handle the situation and holding the woman back from further escalating the situation.
Many X users were furious over the behaviour of the banker. They slammed her for passing caste-related remarks, threats and intimidating a customer. The users questioned if there was any accountability of these bankers and such behaviour should not be normalised at a work-place. The female banker received a lot of backlash on the internet, however, there is no official statement from the bank as of now. Neither have any police complained been registered till now.
