Shockwaves were sent across the country with the news of NCP minister Baba Siddique’s death. He was shot dead in Bandra East, Mumbai and the Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for this attack. One of the alleged accused in the case had claimed to be a minor, however, his ossification test has proved that the man is not a minor. Read on to know more about it.
The Mumbai police are currently investigating the death of a former minister and have already arrested two alleged accused. The local court had ordered their custody till October 21. One of the alleged accused named Dharmaraj Kashyap had claimed to be a minor. The prosecution objected to the claim and said that his Aadhar card showed he was not a minor. However, the name on the Aadhar card did not match, and Dharmaraj did not have any school or birth certificate. Therefore, the Mumbai court ordered an ossification test on the alleged accused. In this test, some bones of the body are examined through X-ray to detect the age of the person. It proved that Dharamraj is not minor. He was sent to the police custody.
As per the news reports, the alleged accused have accepted to be a part of the Bishnoi gang. In the latest updates, the third accused was arrested from Pune. Some shooters are still absconding.
For the unversed, a day after the brutal killing of Baba Siddique, one of the gang members posted a message and threat on social media. In this, he also claimed responsibility for the murder. He also warned people who would help actor Salman Khan that they would be in danger.
