Salman Khan was visibly affected by Baba Siddique’s death and was among the first to reach the hospital!

The tragic murder of Baba Siddique, former Maharashtra minister and close friend of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, has sent shockwaves across the political and entertainment communities. Siddique was gunned down near his son’s office, with investigations pointing towards the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, notorious for previous threats to Salman Khan. Recent findings reveal that the assassination plan was formulated just 10 days after an earlier shooting incident near Salman’s Bandra residence in April 2024.
Salman Khan and Baba Siddique
Baba Siddique, a well-known political figure and a trusted confidant of Salman Khan, became a target likely due to his close association with the actor. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang appears to have targeted key individuals connected to Khan, with Siddique’s murder marking an escalation in their threats. The assassination was reportedly coordinated using a clandestine communication system known as Dabba Calling, which allows users to bypass regular phone networks. This system was allegedly used by Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, to issue instructions to the operatives involved in the plot.
More Details
Key suspect Shiv Kumar Gautam, identified as the main shooter, carefully orchestrated his escape. After the attack, he mingled with bystanders for about 20 minutes, leaving behind his weapon and other personal items, including an Aadhaar card, to mislead investigators. Later, he visited a hospital to verify Siddique’s death and discarded his phone to evade tracking. The murder has intensified concerns over Salman Khan’s safety, given the longstanding threats from the Bishnoi gang. The April 2024 firing incident near Khan’s residence now appears to be part of a broader strategy to intimidate the actor and those close to him.
