Former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East on October 12. While the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has accepted the responsibility for the unfortunate shooting and while two of the shooters were arrested by the Mumbai Police, the third one is yet to be caught. 1. Fourth Accused Arrested In UP
Harishkumar Balakram, the fourth accused in the Baba Siddique murder case, was detained on Tuesday in Uttar Pradesh. Police are still looking for the third gunman, Shivkumar Gautam, who is suspected of being implicated in the killing of the NCP leader. So far, four persons have been detained in connection with the case: two shooters, Gurmail Baljit Singh and Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap, and co-conspirator Pravin Lonkar. Authorities believe Gautam is hiding in places of worship in Ujjain or Khandwa, and are now searching for him.
2. 10 Cops Who Arrested 2 Shooters To Be Awarded
As many as ten police officers from the Nirmal Nagar police station who apprehended the two gunmen who reportedly opened fire on NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui on Saturday night may soon receive a reward for their efforts. Confirming the development, a senior police officer stated that the process of rewarding the ten officers had begun. “We acknowledged and appreciated their efforts on the local level and have put forward a proposal for the reward,” the law enforcement officer stated.
3. Accused’s Picture At Juhu Beach Becomes A Clue
The police said that they immediately checked the two accused’s phones after arresting them and found a picture of the three shooters at Juhu Beach. The accused, Dharmraj Kahsyap told the police that they had been in Mumbai for a month and went to Juhu Beach after they had heard a lot about it. They had their photo taken by a photographer, and Kashyap took a picture of it with his phone. The snapshot was useful since it immediately identified the third accused who was fleeing and also indicated the trio had been together.

4. Manhunt For Third Accused Increases
Police are currently looking for Shivkumar Gautam, the third shooter in the murder of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique in Mumbai. So far, three people have been detained in connection with the case: shooters Gurmail Baljit Singh and Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap, and co-conspirator Pravin Lonkar. Authorities are now focusing their hunt for Gautam on houses of worship in Ujjain and Khandwa, believing he may seek refuge there.
5. Zeeshan Siddique Was Also A Target
Mumbai police stated on Monday that Zeeshan Siddiqui, Baba Siddiqui’s son and MLA, was also a target and that the accused had been told to shoot anyone they encountered. During interrogation, the suspects, Dharmaraj Kashyap and Gurmail Singh, admitted that they were offered a contract to assassinate both Zeeshan and Baba Siddiqui.
