Baba Siddique Murder Case: Police Confirms The Involvement Of Lawrence Bishnoi’s Gang

In recent happenings, former Maharashtra minister, Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his son MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East. After an investigation, the Mumbai police have confirmed the involvement of jailed gangster Lawrance Bishnoi in the killing of the NCP leader on Saturday night. Actor Salman Khan’s security outside his Bandra house increased after this recent incident.
Lawrence Bishnoi Involved In Killing Baba Siddique
The 66-year-old Siddique was shot six to seven times by three assailants, two of them have been detained. Though the Bishnoi gang had created some tension in the city after firing outside actor Salman Khan’s Bandra house in April, they weren’t involved in killings in the city until Baba Siddique’s assassination. The gang had been involved in extortion killings in the North Indian states, including the killing of a gym owner in Delhi last month.
Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently lodged at Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad, has often garnered attention due to his constant threats to actor Salman Khan. The actor came onto the Bishnoi gang’s radar after his infamous Blackbuck killing case in 1998, which is considered holy by the Bishnoi community.

According to the police, Bishnoi’s brother Anmol and right-hand Rohit Godara, who are suspected to be based in the United States and Canada, have been running Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang from the outside. The gangster is very popular on social media and is also known to hire young gangsters from the North Indian states through social media to carry out his hit jobs. According to an officer, “So far, one thought he was making threats to create fear among people using it to extort money. Why the gang decided to murder someone is part of the probe.”
How Did Baba Siddique Die?
Siddique, a three-time former MLA, was walking to his car after leaving his son and Bandra East MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s office when three gunmen opened fire on him. Two bullets struck him in the chest, and one in the abdomen. He suffered numerous major injuries and was sent to Lilavati Hospital, where he was pronounced dead during treatment. The shooting took place on a day when city police were on heightened alert owing to the Shiv Sena’s two annual Dussehra demonstrations.
