Baba Siddique Death Case: Main Shooter Arrested From Uttar Pradesh, Had Plans To Leave The Country!

Finally, the main shooter in the Baba Siddique murder case has been arrested from Uttar Pradesh. A joint operation was carried out by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force and Mumbai Crime Branch to arrest the alleged shooter Shivkumar who absconded after the crime. He was arrested on Sunday along with three other men who sheltered him and were trying to help him flee to Nepal. Read on for more.

Main Shooter Arrested

Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his son’s office in Bandra East by three shooters. The main shooter Shivkumar who shot the NCP leader immediately ran away from the crime scene after committing the murder, the Mumbai Crime Branch has been on the lookout for him since then. On Sunday, he was finally arrested from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh in a joint operation carried out by UP’s STF and Mumbai Crime Branch. Shivkumar was being protected by three men and they too were caught in the operation. As per the police, the alleged accused was trying to escape to Nepal and the three men were helping him.

As per a report by The Hindu, this joint operation was carried out by 21 police officers. The police in on their way to Mumbai with the arrested men. As per the reports, Shivkumar also spoke about the details of his plan during an interrogation with police. He revealed that Shubham Lonkar was the mediator between him and Lawrence Bishnoi’s younger brother Anmol. They also spoke on Snapchat several times, as per the reports. Shivkumar also said that they were promised 10 lakh rupees and something every month after the plan was executed.

Till now, 18 persons have been arrested in the Baba Siddique death case.
