There have been constant developments in the r*pe accused Ashok Kharat’s case who is currently in police custody. He was arrested in Nashik in a s*xual harassment case. Police Custody Extended
In the latest court hearing, the bench has extended self-styled Godman and r*pe accused Ashok Kharat’s judicial custody. Earlier it was April 1, but on Wednesday, it was extended to April 14. In the SIT probe, it was alleged that Kharat had exploited more the 150 women under false pretext of professionally helping them.
SIT Revelations
The investigation team has also revealed some details about how he exploited the women. As per The New Indian Express report, Ashok Kharat also tricked vegetarians into eating fish, in the name medicine. He also claimed the eating fish would help tackle mental health issues. The SIT has revealed his questionable tactics of luring women and s*xually exploting them.
Wife Absconding, Son Arrested
As per the recent reports, Ashok Kharat’s wife been absconding, and the police is on her lookout. On the other hand, the police has also arrested his son in a land-related case, and they have also launch an investigation against their daughter.
