Ashok Kharat’s Named In 3rd R*pe Case
The accused has now been named in a third r*pe case, and he was presented before the Nashik Court via video call. As per a PTI report, Ashok Kharat has been accused of s*xually assaulting a seven-month pregnant woman, the wife of his office staff. The court has given a 5-day judicial custody of the accused in this case. The court recently extended Ashok Kharat’s custody till April 21 in the second r*pe case. For the unversed, Kharat was arrested in Nashik after being accused of r*ping a woman for months. A Special Investigation Team was set up to investigate his case, and the police revealed shocking details of the case. As per the case, Kharat assaulted many women under the pretext of helping them and solving their issues.
The Maharashtra cyber cell is also working on preventing the leak of Ashok Kharat’s harassment videos. As per the news reports, the police took down such videos from more than 170 adult sites. Reports say that the victims are facing depression due to the videos circulating on social media. The police have assured them of taking strict steps in order to stop the circulation.
