The ongoing Dubai MMS involving famous Indian YouTuber Payal Gaming has been making headlines all over social media. And amid the hateful comments, actress and influencer Anjali Arora has come forward in support of her. She spoke up against the deepfake and drew from her own painful experience with a similar situation in the past. Read to know what she said here.

Initially, Payal Dhare, aka Payal Gaming, did not react to the controversy, but in recent updates, she urged fans not to engage with deepfakes. She spoke about how such events affect people off-screen and that she was speaking on behalf of other women who are also the victims of the same. Her words showed empathy, concern, and emotion. Reacting to this, Anjali Arora also came forward and recalled facing a similar nightmare back when a fake MMS with her name was circulated.

She wrote, “Three years ago, I went through the trauma of a fake MMS being circulated using my name. Seeing the same thing happen to Payal Gaming today brings back those painful memories.” In August 2022, Arora got intense hate when an intimate video was falsely linked to her. She denied all the claims, saying that the video was morphed. This controversy caused her severe mental distress and also affected her family, especially because she was just 21 at the time. She went on to file an FIR and a defamation case against many portals and YouTube channels spreading fake content.
