International singers Katy Perry and Shakira will reportedly perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's European cruise pre wedding!
Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant are set to tie the knot on July 12, 2024. The couple’s pre-wedding festivities kicked off in March 2024 with an extravagant celebration in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Now this time they are gearing up for an even more lavish pre-wedding event aboard a luxurious cruise sailing from Italy to France.
Glittering Performances
There are reports that the global pop stars Katy Perry and Shakira will perform at this second pre-wedding party. According to The Sun UK, Katy Perry will headline a masquerade ball in Cannes on May 31st. A source revealed that millions of dollars would be paid to Perry for her gig. The bash is set in an estate of £40 million with about 800 guests who enjoy world-class entertainment including a DJ and splendid pyrotechnics over the Bay of Cannes.
Shakira too may appear at the event as per Navbharat Times. With hit songs like “Waka Waka” and “Hips Don’t Lie,” Shakira usually charges high fees for private events ranging between Rs 10 to Rs 15 crore. This follows the previous pre-wedding bash where Rihanna was reportedly paid around Rs 74 crore for her performance.

The first pre-wedding celebration took place in Jamnagar with many celebrities attending it. Rihanna performed during the function making it a trend worldwide within hours. Bollywood heavyweights Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan were also part of this event while others such as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates were among the international guests.
