All You Need To Know About New 19-Minute Viral Video Being Linked To Sofik SK’s Rumoured Clip

In recent events, Indian authorities have issued a new warning following another alleged ‘viral MMS’ clip’s circulation on social media. This is also being falsely linked to the earlier ’19-minute viral video’ controversy, which involved many content creators, including Sweet Zannat. Officials have revealed that the latest claims are being exploited by cyber criminals to lure users into clicking on malicious links.

About New Viral MMS Controversy

Earlier this month, a 19-minute video reportedly featuring a Bengali YouTuber, Sofik SK and his girlfriend, Dustu Sonali, went viral. This triggered a mass debate online, and days later, a prominent gamer and YouTuber, Payal Dhare, popularly known as Payal Gaming, made headlines after an alleged private clip went viral. Many others later pointed out that her video appeared to be an AI-generated deepfake. Just weeks later, the cyber police revealed that fraudsters are now recycling these high-profile cases to promote fake links promising access to ‘full videos.’

The latest one on the internet has been linked to an incident at the Vindhya Trade Fair in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, where a video reportedly filmed using a hidden camera in a women’s toilet is being portrayed as part of the 19-minute viral video controversy. Officials have clarified that the clip has no connection to the earlier influencer videos and is being misrepresented to scam users.

The police have also warned that clicking on such links can give criminals unauthorised access to the device, personal data, banking details and passwords, leading to financial losses. Cyber investigators are examining those responsible for sharing both the earlier viral videos and the new Santa-linked content. Authorities have stressed that forwarding or accessing such videos can invite legal consequences under cybercrime and privacy laws.
