Bengaluru Woman Allegedly Dies By Su*cide After In-Laws Force Her Into Pr*stitution

A 22 year old woman named Anjanabai Shekhar Patil allegedly commited su*cide In Bengaluru.

In a tragic and disturbing news peice today, a Bengaluru woman passed away after allegedly committing su*cide. Reports point to the claims that her in-laws forced her into pr*stitution. The shocking part is that she was just 22 years old at the time of her death. This incident reportedly happened in the state’s Bidar district. Bengaluru Woman Dies By Su*cide

A 22-year-old woman named Anjanabai Shekhar Patil was reportedly found dead at her home in Basavakalyan in the same district (Bidar). She got married in 2022 to a person named Shekhar Patil who was from the said region. They had an 11-month-old baby as well. The news reports revealed that her body was found handing inisde the house. As per NDTV, her father, Vijaykumar, filed a case last week and alleged that her in-laws harassed her mentally and physically. In a statement her also claimed that the in-laws pressured her into pr*stitution and subjected her to domestic violence as well, which resulted in severe mental trauma. The 22-year-old’s father also claimed that she was subjected to assault for refusing illicit relationships.

More Details About The Case

According to the reports, the police have booked the three accused individuals, including the woman’s husband, Shekhar Patil. The other two people are reportedly members of the family. Currently, the investigation into the case is underway while three accused remain in custody.
