Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay swore in on his position as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on Sunday, May 10. In this, he spoke about things like free electricity action against drugs, and safety of women as the first order signed by him. An emotional him started the speech with the Tamil Phrase, ‘En Nenjil Kudiyirukkum‘, which means, ‘who lives in my heart’ that he earlier used to address his fans with.
Thalapathy Vijay As Tamil Nadu CM
In his first order as the CM of Tamil Nadu, the TVK chief ordered free 200 units of power to be supplied, a special task force to look up the drug menace along with a special force to ensure women’s safety. He also stated that he will maintain his attention on basic but important issues like health, education, and education. He said that farmers and fishermen “will be taken care of.”
Addressing himself, Vijay said that an “assistant director’s son” had become the chief minister, so he knew about problems like hunger and poverty. The politician stated that he wasn’t from a royal family and had faced lots of hardships while growing up. In his speech to the citizens, he said that he would not bbe making any “false promises” and that they would not take a penny from people’s fund neither will they allow anyone else to steal it.

He went on to promise a “new era of real, secular, social justice,” and thanked Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Praveen Chakravarty, the Left’s Ma Baby and all allies. Rahul Gandhi was also standing on the stage with him and had supported Vijay through the poll campaign to the extent of missing some events of his former ally party, DMK.
