In this note, she informed the fans that Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal's wedding was postponed due to the health issues of the cricketer's dad. She further requested for privacy in these sensitive times. The pre-wedding rituals were happening in the cricketer's hometown, Sangli, Maharashtra. As per some news reports, Smriti's father suffered a heart attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital. He was kept under observation and going by the updates on the same, his health was stable. The very next day, reports about Palash Muchhal visiting the hospital due to a viral infection also made headlines.
