Well, fans aren't mad about the staff checking IDs. Many think it is a good way to stop people from selling tickets for too much money. The real problem is the timing. Tickets went on sale long ago, and no one said anything about these strict rules back then. Most fans already have their tickets and have made travel plans. Now, with only a little time left, SM changed everything without warning. Shawols feel cheated. They spent a lot of money and waited excitedly for months. Changing the rules so late feels wrong and disrespectful. Because of this, fans are taking action. They are trending hashtags on X (Formerly Twitter).
