Day after day, history is being created by powerful women across the globe. The latest one to create history is an American attorney and jurist who served as a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Yep, I am referring to none other than Ketanji Brown Jackson. Ketanji Brown Jackson became the first-ever black woman to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States. A much-deserved win for her and the community. On Thursday, the Senate of the United States wrote history when they confirmed that Ketanji Brown Jackson is the first black woman to serve on the Supreme Court. The attorney and jurist was approved by a vote of 53 to 47. Needless to say, the announcement in favour of Ketanji Brown Jackson earned thunderous applause from the upper chamber of Congress. As per reports, her win ensured that white men will not be the majority in the United State’s Supreme Court for the first time in 233 years.
