Despite the health emergencies of the cricketer's father, Amita said that everything will go back to how it was supposed to be and that their wedding will take place soon after that. She also revealed that her son shared a close bond with his future father-in-law, Shriniwas Mandhana. She said that he was closer to him than Smriti herself.
