I have never understood how people move seamlessly from one relationship to another. Hell, it took me a whole year to get over a 4 year relationship and even today there are times when I am on the fence about that one. The fact is that some relationships are stronger and more stable than rest and some are just flat out toxic for you. That game is to pick the right people and like most games, I suck at this one too.
However, there are people who seem to get it right (of course after a lot of trial and error) and that gives me some hope. How awesome would it be if you could meet “the one” right away, fall in love and that would be it? Actually, come to think of it would be rather boring. See, I am decisive. Toxic relationships are horrible yes, but in retrospect, they are kind of entertaining and educational. The only reference point I have of good relationships come from Bollywood movies (not so reliable) and celebrities. At this moment I am fangirling over Sushmita Sen and her boyfriend Rohman Shawl, they are amazing together.
All through this lockdown, Susmita has been posting motivational videos and photos of her daughters. She also gives us a sneak peek into her life with Rohman and after seeing her latest post, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it’s the kind of relationship I want.

Sushmita often puts up cutesy posts with Rohman and it’s really amazing that unlike a lot of her colleagues, she isn’t afraid to be open about her relationships. But again, she has always been a trailblazer and together they really are beyond couple goals.
