They charmed their way to our hearts in Ramleela, crystallised it with their other movies and then gave us absolute #couplegoals when they got married. They are unanimously our favourite power couple in Bollywood. The duo tied the knot last year on November and fans still can’t get over their pictures. Deepika and Ranveer have always kept their relationship private and before they got married, the love birds never openly confirmed to being in a relationship. But after their fairytale wedding, we constantly see Ranveer Singh expressing his love for the lady. Gosh! These guys are too adorable.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Deepika Padukone revealed what drew her towards the Bajirao Mastani star. Deepika revealed  that Ranveer Singh is not pretentious and extremely genuine and that is something that attracted her to him. The Piku actor stated that with Ranveer around, there is no holding back! Deepika Padukone mentioned that the Gunday actor isn’t afraid of crying and can express emotions very well and along with this his honesty was disarming. Add to that, that this has oodles fo charm and we can see why Deepika fell for him.Deepika and Ranveer have worked in together 3 films before they got hitched and now, they will be seen together again in the upcoming film, ‘83.

Deepika said, “There is no pretence with him, no holding back…People hate him or love him for that, but that’s who he is. He’s genuine…very good at articulating his feelings. He’s not afraid to cry. That’s what got me.” The actress also spoke that she was determined to make it big, despite her failures and that she had no mentor. Deepika also recalled her challenges with depression and called it a “struggle.” Well, she is glad that she opened up about it and is now spreading awareness about the stigma of mental health.

On the professional front, a couple of weeks ago Deepika Padukone wrapped up her film, Chhapaak. In the film, she will be seen playing the role of Malti and Chhapaak is based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor. Helmed by Meghna Gulzar the film is slated to release on January 10, 2019!
