Weighing in, a few users mentioned the importance of mutual respect and trust. Many others mentioned that love is complicated and entails many emotions. A Reddit user wrote–”I don’t know. I always saw love as giving and caring. It lends itself to respect and trust naturally by virtue of putting the other first, looking out for their well being, and embracing who they are.”
