In episode 53 of Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist, Sanjana Sanghi shared that consistency is a dating green flag. “I think one (green flag) is consistency. If the time that you meet someone and when you’re still with them 6 months later, are they the same or a lot has changed? If it has then toodles kar do. Another green flag would be, someone who cares about the people in their life because they shouldn’t either care about you or themselves. It’s very important that they care about their support system,” said the Dhak Dhak actress.

Sanjana Sanghi Lists Dating Red Flags

When asked to list dating red flags, Sanjana Sanghi was quick to point out that emotional unavailability is a total dealbreaker. Speaking about the same, the actress told the host Siddhaarth Aalambayan, “If you’re not able to (be emotionally available), it can’t just be ‘I had a great day’, ‘I have a great weekend’, ‘oh, that was so fun’. This can’t be life. You have to get real sometimes. That ego, I think both the male and female ego can be demons. So, tame the ego.”

She also highlighted the importance of saying ‘no’ and avoiding uncomfortable situations even if it comes at the cost of losing a friend. Sanjana further spoke about popular casting director Mukesh Chhabra and working with Pankaj Tripathi.

On Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist episode 53, Sanjana Sanghi spoke about working in Dhak Dhak alongside Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Did you know Sanjana can call Ratna Pathak Shah as Rats? Yep. We think it’s very Maya Sarabhai vibe. Diving deeper into working on the film, Sanjana even revealed that in order to work in Dhak Dhak, there was on criteria and it was being able to learn how to ride a bike. The starlet said that she could’ve never imagined what it would be like if someone told a 15-year-old Sanjana sitting in school in Delhi that she’s going to one day learn how to ride a Royal Enfield and go ride it on the highest motorable road in the world to shoot a film.

FYI, Dhak Dhak is a feminist drama film written and directed by Tarun Dudeja and produced by BLM Pictures in collaboration with Outsider Films Productions and Viacom18 Studios. The film released in theatres across India on October 13 last week.
