Manmohan Singh was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on Thursday after his health condition worsened. He was later declared dead by the AIIMS Delhi doctors.

Veteran Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal on December 23, at the age of 90.

Zakir Hussain, one of the world's greatest tabla musicians, died of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (a lung condition), on December 16, at a hospital in San Francisco, United States.

Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader, was shot dead on October 12 outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office.

Ratan Tata died on October 10 at the age of 86. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Monday after experiencing a significant decrease in blood pressure and was in critical condition in the intensive care unit. more

Veteran TV actor Rituraj Singh passed away on February 20. He apparently had pancreatic illness and was hospitalized after a heart episode.

Rohit Bal, a renowned designer, died on Diwali, November 1, 2024. He was 63. Bal was suffering from a severe heart condition. His mortal remains were buried at Delhi’s Lodhi Crematorium.

Ustad Rashid Khan, a music maestro, died on January 9 at a hospital in Kolkata following a protracted struggle with cancer. The classical singer was 55. Khan was laid to rest in his hometown of Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, with state honors.more
