Mumbai’s Most Stylish Made A Beeline For This Book Launch
Children’s book author and society darling Farah Oomerbhoy launched her debut novel The Last Of The Firedrakes at the sprawling new Le Mill outpost on Wednesday evening, and boy was it a chic soirée. The most fashionable women of the city showed up in full force to support the newly-minted author and we had our eyes glued to all their amazing outfit and accessory choices (obviously)!
Shweta Bachchan Nanda — also a celebrated columnist herself now — launched the book and read an excerpt from it for the audience, which included Roohi Jaikishan and Natasha Poonawalla, among two of the country’s best-dressed fashionistas. Also in the audience was Rahul Khanna, who looked devilishly handsome in white and beige.
By all accounts, Oomerbhoy’s new book is an engaging read. A fantastical novel detailing the life and exploits of an ordinary young girl who is pulled into a parallel realm of fantasy creatures, myth and magic, this book is sure to ignite your imagination. Shop it here!
