Like every year, ELLE India hosts its annual Carnival For A Cause to raise funds for patients suffering from breast cancer. After successful outings in Delhi and Bangalore, the Mumbai edition took place on Sunday and the who’s who of the city’s fashion and society cognoscenti put in an appearance and shopped for a great cause.
Hosted at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, the initiative brings together some of India’s best-known brands and designers along with international luxury labels, who auction their products at steeply discounted prices. As in totally affordable, below Rs 5,000 prices! In this way, the carnival creates the perfect occasion for people to shop minus the guilt.
This year saw some amazing works by Rajesh Pratap Singh, AM:PM, SHIFT by Nimish Shah, Bodice by Ruchika Sachdeva, Shantanu & Nikhil, and Wendell Rodricks were on display, along with tons of other stuff. Apart from that, there was some great food, drinking, and lots of fun booths for photos and assorted entertainment.
