5 Ways To Get Rid Of Foot Pain After Wearing High Heels!

The thing with being a girl is that we seem to particularly enjoy torturing ourselves in the name of fashion or in the pursuit to look good. So we pour ourselves into a tight dress and wear shape-wear tight enough to cut off our breath. We wear heels to look taller and leaner.  We are a weird bunch. Once you’re home and you take off the spanx and blood circulation is back to normal, you’re fine. Not so much with heels though. We pretend the pain is bearable and we will be just fine, but you wake up and even putting your foot on the floor is an exercise in pain. Since December is a month that will need some party hacks, we give you  5 amazing ways to take care of your heels after a night of partying in stilettos.

1. Get a foot massage

Whether it is a manual roll-on foot massager or one of those machines you can put your feet into, it will definitely help relieve your pain. If you can coax your partner or ask a buddy who will volunteer to give you a foot massage, that’s better!

2. Soak them in warm water

Take a bucket of water and put in a few drops of essential oils, or pour some bath salts into a tub and soak your feet in it. This will help relieve the pain and hopefully put you back on your feet.

3. Wear compression socks

Compression socks can help alleviate the pain, since they improve circulation throughout your feet. Put a pair of these socks o, put your feet up and relax on a bed or a sofa. Netflix till your feet better.

4. Stretch the pain away

Wearing heels for several hours and dancing the night away can cause cramps in your calves, thigh, and ankles. Stretch out your entire leg with a few leg stretches or simply just so some foot yoga to release the pain.

5. Put them up!

Last but not the least, don’t leave your feet hanging from a chair or a sofa. This causes the blood to rush down to your feet. Instead put them up on the couch or a bed by lying down, and relax in a 180 degree position.
