With the current status of the world and ethical concerns, vegan fashion and lifestyle remain a popular trend in times today. Veganism as a lifestyle, strengthens bonds between consumers and the environment. And building a cruelty-free lifestyle is popular Indian brand Zouk. Committed to ethical living, the brand again joined hands with PeTA India and hosted the latest, second edition of Vegan Creators Day and Awards on November 26, 2023. With popular content creators, and followers of a Vegan lifestyle, gracing the show, Mumbai’s hottest spot Balsa turned into the best venue, and decor by WeCurate Events.

The guest list comprising of 60+ mega creators, was welcomed to an eventful schedule of live music, food, and panel discussion, followed by the awards ceremony. In attendance were celebrities from Aahana Kumra, Netflix’s Class actor Chintan Rachchh, Balika Vadhu fame Roop Durgapal, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Lataa Saberwal, Nutritionist and health coach Neha Ranglani, influencer, actress Shreya Ghodawat and more.

Zouk Vegan Creators Day and Awards actively put the spotlight on the current trend of veganism, and how can it be an interesting addition to our wardrobes, apart from our kitchen pantries. With actress Sara Ali Khan serving as the face of Zouk, the brand is known for blending its love for traditional, and contemporary styles into one. Through the Creator’s Day celebrations, Zouk talks about its mission to shape 1,00,000 vegan creators. At the prestigious event, many popular actors also actively participated, highlighting the importance of veganism. Besides Zouk founder Disha Singh, the starlet guest list churned out stories from their personal lives and experiences of adopting a vegan, cruelty-free lifestyle. As a part of this lifestyle, creators talked about going for vegan cosmetics, clothing items, bags, food and more. Speaking about the same, Fonder Disha Singh and Co-Founder Pradeep Krishnakumar said, “We feel veganism might be tough in the sector of food, due to various reasons, but turning towards a vegan lifestyle is much easier. You don’t need crocodile leather to look stylish, or harm animals to make a fashion statement. It is the easiest if a person wants to contribute to the environment.”

Kickstarting the event, a musical performance opened the show, followed by Raveena Taurani, Chef and Founder of Yogisattva Cafe hosting a fun round of games and activities. Creators also participated in a live panel discussion and shared their take on veganism. The event was elevated by the esteemed presence of actress Aahana Kumra who graced the event carrying Zouk’s Sara Ali Khan Satchel–Nawabi Couture, interacted with our creators as well as awarded some of the winners. Through this event, Zouk aims to widen the scope of veganism as a lifestyle to promote a healthier and better way of living.
