Who Is Shruti Sharma, The Topper Of UPSC 2021?

I remember when I was younger my Nana was very enthusiastic about me applying for the UPSC. He was 100% sure that I would do really well in that realm. However, thanks to my limited attention span and overall laziness, I chose to not go into the field. But whenever I hear of people clearing the exams or doing well in them, I genuinely feel extremely proud and in awe of them. One such person is  Shruti Sharma from  Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. She has become one of many female IAS officers in the country by topping the exams this year. Let’s find out more about her!

Who is Shruti Sharma?

Shruti Sharma is a resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. She is a Delhi University graduate of St Stephen’s College. She is stated to have earned her bachelor’s degree from Delhi University’s St Stephen’s College and then pursued her postgraduate degree at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Shruti aims to become a member of the Indian Administrative Services (IAS).

Shruti Sharma was a history major who had spent a long time studying for the UPSC CSE Exams.  She began preparing for the UPSC IAS Exams after completing her studies at Delhi University’s St Stephen’s College, and her hard work and devotion have led her to become an All India Topper of Civil Services officers, 2021.

Shruti Sharma, Ankita Agarwal, Gamini Singla, and Aishwarya Verma made history by achieving AIR 1, AIR 2, and AIR 3 for UPSC Civil Services 2021, respectively. For the first time, women have been assigned to all three AIR ranks, sources say.
