Vineeta Singh Said People Troll Her “Not Looking Good” Despite Owning A Makeup Brand. Kya Connection?

A woman’s achievements in our country will often be looked down upon. People will always find ways to bring her down, question her worth and her struggles, and always compare her to a male contemporary. No matter what a woman does, she will always be judged for her career choices, her looks, her dressing and whatnot. Reiterating the same, Sugar Cosmetics’ CEO Vineeta Singh spoke about how people trolled her for her looks and said that she started a makeup company when she doesn’t look good herself.
As per reports, Vinita Singh had a candid chat with author Chetan Bhagat and talked about despite being an established entrepreneur, people still go on to troll her about her looks. She said they drop nasty comments on her appearance in the comment section of her posts saying that she is not good-looking enough and also how she started a makeup company because of her ‘bad’ looks.
Shedding light on her struggles, Vineeta Singh said that she has suffered and struggled a lot to become what she is today but despite all of it, how she looks, still makes a difference. She further added that men can get away with this a little bit but not women.

The 27-year-old businesswoman drew comparisons with how people considered Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs wearing the same t-shirt as cool. But a woman’s looks in our country matter more than her position or her success. Vineeta Singh also spoke about how she has been labelled as a hypocrite for promoting self-love while owning a makeup company. To this, she said that if women use makeup to make themselves feel good, then why should it be of concern to anyone else?
