Who does not like a gripping murder thriller? The kind that makes you sit on the edge of your seat as you try to wrack your brains as to who the killer might be. If you a fan of this genre, there is a new title releasing soon on the streaming giant Netflix titled Kohrra. The show stars Barun Sobti, Suvinder Vicky, Varun Badola, Harleen Sethi, Rachel Shelly, and Manish Chaudhary in prominent roles, and it is helmed by Sudip Sharma (Pataal Lok) and Randeep Jha. The Kohrra trailer was quite intense and dark. An NRI is killed in Punjab, and the police have no clue as to what could have led to his death. Investigation begins which leads to fingers being pointed at many, leaving the police all the more clueless about who the killer could be. And since the victim is a British national, there is immense pressure to nab the killer too.

Barun Sobti fans will get to see him in the rugged avatar of a cop. He is a tough nut in the show who will leave no stone unturned and explore every angle possible to get to the depth of this murder. He played a forensic expert in the popular crime drama show Asur. You see accidents occurring, and people blackmailing which hints that the plot is going to take a dark turn.

Suvinder Vicky as the buddy cop who investigates this cop along with Barun is shown to be a no-nonsense cop who is quite hot-headed.

The Kohrra trailer gave a glimpse of how sometimes politics and personal lives get intertwined making the one stuck in the crosshairs feel helpless. The plot of this investigative murder mystery looks gripping. A tagline in the trailer said that love blurs the lines between right and wrong, hinting that a sour love affair could have been the cause of this murder.
