The first Women’s Day was celebrated about a century ago, and since then, March 8 is dedicated to appreciating and applauding the achievements of the female gender. Now, you and I both know that we don’t need a specific day to honour women… it should be done every day.
But, this particular day reminds us of the importance of being a woman, reminds us to be proud of all the wonderful ladies in our life. Being a woman ourselves, we know exactly what the other goes through. And it’s time we stand by each other, and encourage each other to live independent, and stand up for who we are in this otherwise suffocating society.
This Women’s Day, tell your mom, best friend, sister, grandmom… whoever it is, that they are doing great, and that you are proud of the person they are. Trust me, you, and they, deserve it. Watch and share with every woman who has a special place in your heart!
