#Plandid – this trending hashtag isn’t your normal WTF Instagram beauty or fashion moment, but is in fact the pose that you tend to strike when the camera pans in your direction.
Back in the day, a camera meant looking directly into the lens and bringing out that 360-watt smile. However, that doesn’t seem to be the ideal click anymore! A planned candid, or a #plandid, is a “natural” moment captured on camera that is actually staged.
Rings a bell, doesn’t it? Yes, you probably have that BFF who loves staring thoughtfully into the distance while you “secretly” capture that picture-perfect image of her. In reality, the “distant look” is actually her thinking of a caption to go along with the image. Even celebs are guilty of doing it!
