To Save The World, PETA Urges Women To Go On A Sex Strike Against Men Who Consume Meat
You know, I believe that women have the power to save this world because we are born to achieve the impossible, right? But I did not realise that we have to go on a sex strike for it (no, I am not joking at all). Recently, the animals’ rights group – PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) said that women could save the world by going on a sex strike against men who consume meat. Cool motive but what?
It is a fact that we have to reduce meat consumption in order to tackle the climate crisis. And PETA, also known as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has a solution for it and it is saying no to sex with meat-eating men (yes, you heard it right). PETA is urging women across the world to go on a sex strike against men who eat meat. The reason is that many studies have found that men contribute more to climate change as they consume more meat than women.

The non-profit organisation believes that women can save the world by imposing a sex ban on meat-eating men and it will also curb toxic masculinity (but we are not sure how).

In a statement, PETA mentioned a study published in the journal PLOS ONE which states that men contribute more to climate catastrophe than women through meat consumption and their eating habits result in 41% more greenhouse gases.
Furthermore, it claimed that men should take accountability for their actions.
