The wittiest celeb of B-town, actor, author and film producer, Twinkle Khanna has always been vocal about everything from social issues to things that are on her mind. In an interview, the author opened up about parenting and pointed out that parents teach their kids to study hard and strive to succeed but fail to teach them that it’s okay to fail and that life is about accepting yourself and that there is no stigma in seeking help. She also called out the old age parenting based on worshipping one’s parents and said that it’s essential to add words like “communication, unconditional love and support” to our list along with things like “respect, obedience and tradition”.

2. Working Moms Aren’t Bad!

Working mothers often face social stigma and get guilt-tripped as well for not being there for their kids. Speaking about the same Kareena Kapoor Khan said that it’s essential for working moms to believe in themselves while adding that a working woman can set the right example for her kid and it’s important for the kid to see his or her mom happy and fulfilled.
