There are two types of couples in the world – the kind who suck at expressing love and the other who can be mushy even in their sleep. The mushy kinds are annoying to everyone else around them, but I think being affectionate is very important in a relationship. We have friends who say, they really don’t want their partner to do anything special for them, and maybe they have a point. Because when your boyfriend isn’t pampering you enough, it’s like a coping mechanism for many to pretend they don’t need it. However, let’s just admit – we love being pampered, cared for and spoiled – at least once in a while. What’s not to like in a surprise gift or a bunch of roses sent to your office when you’ve been feeling low? Of course, you can have a simple dinner with bae on your birthday but when he puts extra effort to surprise you or go out of the way for you, it makes your heart melt. Forget making out, this alone could make me want to fling my panties at him! So when Kartik Aaryan flew all the way to Bangkok to celebrate his “princess” Sara Ali Khan’s 24th birthday, I let out a whole bunch of awws.
He shared a picture of them on Instagram with the caption: “Happy Birthday, Princess Sara Ali Khan. And Eid Mubarak (this time without the mask).”
That’s not it and let me warn you, if you’re single this is going to sting! The cake that’s visible in the selfie also reads “Happy Birthday Princess.” That’s so cute. We want a bae who goes out of his way to make us feel so special. And calls us and treats us like a princess or a queen. This hurts in places I didn’t know existed *drama queen alert*. These guys are so cute together, we just can’t wait for them to make things official. In fact, Sara Ali Khan too had gone to visit him in Lucknow when he was shooting there. They were seen holding hands in the corridor of a luxury hotel. They have often been spotted being snuggly and thoroughly enjoying their convos.

On the work front, Sara Ali Khan is in Bangkok shooting for Coolie no.1 alongside Varun Dhawan. Kartik Aaryan too will next be seen in a remake. He is shooting for Pati Patni Aur Woh (remake of the 1978 movie of the same name) alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday.
