From Dolce and Gabbana styling the engagement decor to celebrity attendees, Isha Ambani’s engagement at Lake Como in northern Italy, had R-I-C-H written all over it! Isha Ambani aka the daughter of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani sealed the deal, as she got engaged to Anand Piramal over the past weekend.
The fancy affair had everything from themed lunches and gala events to dress codes. The event was literally like an Indian Royal Wedding.
Celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, Manish Malhotra and Karan Johar among others flew down to attend this 3-day soirée.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were dressed in desi as they wore Manish Malhotra for the engagement ceremony!
The next day Priyanka’s mom and brother joined the celebrations too!
Sonam and Anand were at the celebrations. Sonam looked gorgeous in an Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla lehenga.
Anil Kapoor wore a double-breasted Dolce & Gabbana suit for the engagement.
Janhvi Kapoor picked a black Nedret Taciroglu gown for the engagement.
The following day Janhvi wore a coral gown with a head band and a cute milk carton bag. She even took the Sui Dhaga challenge in Italy with sister Khushi.
As the rings were about to be exchanged, Mukesh Ambani walked Isha down the aisle along with Anant and Akash Ambani with Isha’s sister-in-law to-be Shloka Mehta.
Esha wore a Dolce and Gabbana dress for her engagement ceremony.
As the duo exchanged rings, they had a backdrop of a flower shower and a fountain that sprung up in the beautiful lake stretching across about 500 metres.
The decor was designed by Dolce and Gabbana, which included a huge, fair-like setup with a lot of colours and lights and the couples face as a holograph on the set!
They even had John Legend perform at their engagement party! He sang his hit song All Of Me for the couple!
The engagement party ended with a fireworks show!
