Indian Origin Mom Is Going Viral For Sharing How Living In A Small Flat Helped Her Embrace Parenthood

The video of an Indian origin mother is currently going viral on Instagram, where she shares how she chose to raise her baby in a small city apartment rather than upsizing. And how the decision has come with unexpected benefits for the new parents. One of them is how the lack of free space has resulted in strengthening the bond between the family.

Natasha, a new mother living in central London, talked about the sometimes unfavorable realities of living in the big city, the challenges of raising kids in a small London apartment, and how she does not regret moving to a more spacious apartment.

Sharing a video on Instagram, she explained why living in a tight space with her husband and their 7-month-old baby has worked out better than they expected. Some advantages of living in a small space that Natasha shared in a video posted on Instagram were: living in a place with limited space helped the family to be mindful of consumption which in turn made them save money which can be used for travel and other expenses.

She also felt that parenting in a smaller space allowed for quicker response to her baby’s needs and that living together with her family in one room has brought them closer. She further goes on to say if anyone at times require personal space, they can go to a nearby park, mall or spa.

Natasha’s video resonated with many parents online who feel guilty for raising their families in small houses, as they face financial problems. But, watching someone else talk about it and make the good out of what they have uplifted many and made them feel seen.
