Sharing advice on losing weight without working out, Dr Mickey Mehta said, “People say working hard in a punishing manner is the only way to lose weight.” But he opines that working out smart can also be a nice way to reduce weight. Doc also suggests that you can take regular massages as they are relaxing and soothing and helps recover from exhaustion. They also make you lose weight, he said.

Dr Mickey Mehta said, “Standing, stretching, walking distances for running errands, from transport to workplace and vice-versa, preferring staircases throughout and being active is the second way to lose weight.”
Quantity and quality of food
However, when you talk about losing weight without exercising, what you eat, when you eat, how you eat and how much you eat is the key is what Dr Mehta suggests. He advises that you cook healthy meals at home with lots of green and rainbow-coloured vegetables and legumes.” This gives a feeling of fullness without loading on unnecessary calories.
Strictly avoid these foods
Everyone knows this but coming from the doctor sounds more believable that you should avoid eating packaged and processed foods that are high in fat and sugar. Instead, you can opt for fruits, nuts and seeds as snacks.
Finish dinner as early as possible
Dr Mickey Mehta said that finishing dinner before sunset is ideal. It’s a very smart way of losing weight.
2 windows for eating
Doc advises that you keep two fixed slots for eating – 12.30 PM or 6.30 PM. “Do not eat the next big meal, which is your lunch, until 12 noon and see the magic,” he said. Dr Mickey Mehta also suggests that you follow your circadian rhythm.
Liquid take
Just having lots of herbal tea, vegetable juices, coconut water, and kadhas in the morning also plays a key role in helping you reduce weight.
Sleep tight and well
Lastly, Dr Mehta suggests sleeping well every day as you will see your body responding to food in terms of being digested well, nutrients being absorbed well, and eliminating all the toxins efficiently well. This will all help lose weight efficiently without exercising.
