This Girl Wore A Lehenga To Her First Date With Guy She Met Online. We Love The Reaction!

Have you watched the show Dharma & Greg? It was one of my favourite shows growing up and aired in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was essentially about 2 people who were fed up with going through the same cycle of dating with their love life going nowhere. So they decide to skip the whole dating phase in their relationship and directly get married on their first date. I bring this show up because I was reminded of it when I watched this popular video where a girl showed up on a first date wearing a full-on lehenga. She clearly is giving Dharma vibes, I wonder if he will be her Greg.

In a video shot and shared by Sonam Pirani, she can be seen going on a first Bumble date. However, she chooses to do this a bit differently than what you might be envisioning. She shows up on the date wearing a pink lehenga. The man is already seated and starts laughing and hiding his face. Well, at least he took it like a champ. I also would like to know who shot the video because either she took someone with her and asked someone at the restaurant (at least it looks like a restaurant) to shoot it.

I personally think that the guy handled it better than I would have. I am super awkward with these things and would mostly not know how to react. Her followers seemed to enjoy the video with comments like, “Thanks for the idea”, “Am laughing so hard”,  “I want to know the after story did he ran away laughing or you guys are still dating” and many more commenters who found the video funny. I personally don’t see a lot of humour in this but I am glad to see everyone involved got a good kick out of it.
