Thalassa Is Bringing A Bit Of Goa To Mumbai!

If you haven’t heard of Goa’s super popular restaurant Thalassa, you need to push yourself out from beneath that rock. A Greek tavern and bar that serves up some delicious nosh, Thalassa has always been a go-to spot for people who visit Goa. Based in Vagator, it offers up Greek and Mediterranean fare and guess what? Thalassa will be opening in Khar, Mumbai, fairly soon!

Yayy! So if you feel like heading to Goa for a break and some chill scenes, but don’t have the time to, you can just head on over to the Mumbai outlet. Located just at the end of Carter Road (in Khar to be precise), the venue is currently under construction. A few years ago, a pop-up menu of Thalassa was brought to Olive, authentic decor and all! The menu included dishes like Greek Pita Souvlaki Wraps, Greek pizza, stuffed sardines and more.

Thalassa, Mumbai, is slated to open by the end of September, 2016. It will be arriving in place of Yellow Bar All Day, and we’re sure this is going to be a welcome, refreshing change. Just think about the Greek plate-breaking custom that they follow and you’ll definitely want to drop everything and head straight to it. Well, I don’t know about you, but we’re sure going to head here as soon as it’s officially open.

Location: Ground floor, Hotel Shubhangan, 21st Road, Khar Danda, Khar (W).
