During the exclusive chat, Krystle Dsouza opened up about her unique fitness approach. She said, “I train or not depending on the character I’m going to be playing next. However, I maintain a proper diet routine all year round.” She said that recently, she had to gain weight for a character which wasn’t too difficult for her. But losing it came with a lot of difficulties.
In her words, “The difficult part came afterwards, losing it all. For that, I followed a workout routine and a fixed diet.” While Krystle acknowledges the energy boost that fitness provides, she believes confidence goes beyond physical appearance. She said, “Staying fit always helps with overall energy levels, but my confidence, fortunately, doesn’t depend on it. Once I’m on set, confidence comes from within. I’m not someone who runs to the monitor after every shot to check if I’m looking fine.”
Krystle Dsouza’s fitness routine is a reflection of her understanding of her body and what works best for her. She follows intermittent fasting with an 8-hour eating window, avoids dairy, and keeps sugar consumption to a minimum. “I try to squeeze in a swim or a sport daily to stay fit and get some good cardio in,” she shared.
Krystle Dsouza concluded with some valuable advice for those aspiring to join the entertainment industry: “I feel everyone’s body is different, so understand your body first and then stick to what works best for you. For me, after years of trying to figure it out, I guess I cracked my diet plan.”
