Aussie Swimmer Emma McKeon Has Quite The Flex: She Won More CWG Gold Medals Than 56 Countries!

As we all know, the Commonwealth Games 2022 has come to an end. And to state that women athletes clearly ruled the CWG this year is to state the obvious. However, there is one athlete who bagged more than 56 countries and that is very impressive. Yes, you heard it right my gentle readers, Emma McKeon, who is an Australian competitive swimmer has scripted history by winning more gold medals than 56 countries. The Commonwealth Games 2022 ended on August 8 and it was held in Birmingham, London. The swimming champion from Australia, Emma McKeon has set a marvellous record at the championship by winning more medals than 56 nations. The 28-year-old athlete has won one bronze, one silver, and six gold medals across various events in swimming at the Commonwealth Games 2022. Out of the 72 territories/countries that took part in the championship, only 16 of them won eight or more medals.

On the other hand, Australia ended at the top position with a total of 178 medals including 67 gold, 57 silver, and 54 bronze. England ended up bagging a total of 176 medals including 57 gold, 66 silver, and 53 bronze and Canada finished third with 92 medals including 26 gold, 32 silver, and 34 bronze. India finished in the fourth position by winning 61 medals in total including 22 gold, 16 silver, and 23 bronze and New Zealand won 49 medals which include 20 gold,12 silver and 17 bronze medals.
