This Is How You Can Revamp Your Old Flip Flops

Website- DIY Flip Flops

It’s open-toe season, and I am all set to rock my flawless summer-friendly pedicure designs. While my pedicure shines on, a cute pair of flip flops can do no harm, amping up my summer style game! But my closet is overflowing with at least a dozen pairs of flip flops, and my mom would disown me if I bought another pair. So, I decided to revamp a pair of flip flops I already own!

Check out what I did, and go ahead and DIY your old flip flops for the summer.

Things you will need:

Steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Push the strap of the flip flop downwards, and insert a ribbon through it. Now tie the ribbon around the end of the strap, and pull it back up in order to secure it.

Step 2: Wrap the ribbon around the entire strap and secure it with a knot, on the other end, the same way you did for the beginning of the strap.

Step 3: Take a new piece of ribbon and tie it at the centre of the stem.

Step 4: Create a zig zag pattern in order to create a sturdy base to attach the pearls and beads on it. Keep the loops a little loose, and keep trying on the flip flops so that they are not too tight once you’re done.

Step 5: Sew the ribbons together with a needle and thread, and then start sewing all the pearls onto the ribbon.

Step 6: Apply some fabric glue between the gaps, and sprinkle the tiny beads on it. Let it dry overnight, so that the beads don’t fall out at each step.

You are all set to rock this fabulous pair of flip flops this summer.
