Make Your Own No-Sew Donut Pillow With Lonely Socks!
Don’t tell me that you have never lost a sock in the laundry and had to take care of one de-coupled sock forever! The poor, lonely sock would have never left the sock drawer, but here’s your chance to give it a new lease of life with a little creative genius! Make your own donut pillow by stuffing these socks with fibre, and decorating it with your favourite toppings… err.. I mean… sequins or beads!
P.S. You might want to eat these donuts in the process of making this pillow, but I say you curb your cravings!
Things you will need:
- Socks
- Cotton stuffing
- Felt fabric
- Pencil
- Sequins, Beads, Wool
- Scissors
- Glue gun
Steps to follow:
Step 1: Cut the end of the sock and flip it inside out.
Step 2: Fold 2 inches at one end and stuff the gap with cotton fibres. Pull it through to make it tight.
Step 3: Wrap the remaining fabric around it.
Step 4: Cut the excess fabric and glue the edges of the fabric in place.
Step 5: Trace the donut on the felt fabric and draw a squiggly line around it.
Step 6: Cut it and paste it on the donut.
Step 7: Decorate the surface with beads, sequins and yarn.
Step 8: Finally connect 9 of these donuts together with hot glue, and you are all set to go!
